b2b copyright policy

Effective October 19, 2026

Keya LLC respects copyright and expects the people who use b2b to do the same. If something on b2b infringes your copyright, here is how to tell us, and what we do about it.

How b2b works, and what we can remove

b2b's servers don't hold the music people share. A share link is a page on b2b.audio that shows a track's or a playlist's details and plays it from the sharer's own cloud storage. What we host, and can remove, is the page: its titles, credits, artwork and the link to the file. The file itself is stored by the sharer with their storage provider, Dropbox, which has its own copyright process.

The only music b2b serves itself is the demo library at demo.b2b.audio: excerpts of tracks released under CC0, each credited in the demo.

Sending a notice

Email your notice to Keya LLC at support@b2b.audio, with "Copyright notice" in the subject. A notice must include all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, or that of someone authorized to act for the owner.
  2. The copyrighted work you say is infringed, or a representative list if there are several.
  3. The b2b link or links you want removed (for example https://b2b.audio/t/…), so we can find them.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

What we do

When we receive a complete notice, we turn off the link promptly and, where we can reach them, tell the person who made it. We keep a record of the notices we receive. We may also turn off a link without a notice when infringement is apparent.

Counter-notices

If your link was turned off by mistake or misidentification, you can email a counter-notice to support@b2b.audio with:

We pass a complete counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the link 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe and turn off their links. We may close an account sooner for flagrant infringement.

False notices

Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
